Secret Charter is a fundraiser conceived as a creative response to the funding cuts we face as a school.

Over 500 pieces of artwork were generously donated by international and emerging artists as well as students, all of which have been sold to raise funds to support the Creative and Performing Arts Departments at school.

Organised by a committed group of passionate parents with support from The Friends of The Charter School North Dulwich, the event, sponsored by Hamptons,  was hosted by our generous friends at Dulwich Picture Gallery on Monday 15th October. Over 600 visitors came during the course of the day and enjoyed viewing all 550 mini original artworks by artists and celebrities including Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Julian Opie, Jock McFadyen, and Maggi Hambling, Hugh Grant, Miranda Hart, James Corden, Brenda Blethyn, Jo Brand, Jeremy Corbyn and Aidan Turner.

A list of all the artists who donated a postcard can be viewed here.

The online auction ended at 9:30pm on Wednesday 17th October and saw some enthusiastic last minute bidding. The final grand total was £55,110 making it the most successful fundraiser in the school's history.

Well done and huge thanks to the team, led by Charter School parent, Laura Stephens.
