We were invited to take part in a chess tournament as part of the Southwark Schools Learning Partnership.  Four of our regular Year 7 chess club attendees travelled to Harris Boys Academy East Dulwich where they came up against their fellow chess players from James Allen’s Girls’ School, Dulwich College, Westminster City and Harris Boys.  Our team finished joint fourth with some very tense games where the clock was needed to decide the winner.  Cupcakes during breaks helped to make it a memorable day.
